EasyShare-one Camera Doesn’t Live up to its Name

Kodak produced the EasyShare-one to be just as its name says: EasyShare. Well, it does not seem like everyone is liking Kodak’s approach. Dawn C. Chmielewski from the Morning Call Online wrote an article about her frustrations with the camera.

There’s only one complication: I struggled to get the EasyShare-one to join my wireless home network, and encountered complications transmitting my digital photos from the nearest WiFi hot spot, a Starbucks.

Part of the problem may be attributed to the vagaries of wireless home networking. Or maybe the EasyShare-one is a fickle creature. But I’ve connected an array of devices to our encrypted network — computers, digital stereos and even Internet phones. The Kodak EasyShare-one simply refused to join.

I spent two head-scratching days troubleshooting the problem with Kodak — a process that, in the end, made me feel like I’m qualified for a job at Cisco Systems.
