SONY Cyber-shot DSC-W35
The SONY Cyber-shot DSC-W35 is one ultra-compact digital camera that is easy to use and very light to be brought whereever you go. It only measure 89.8 x 59.1 x 22.9 mm. It has a 7.2 megapixel resolution so you could have great quality pictures and capture those special moments. Equiped with an optical viewfinder, you may enjoy browsing captured images at its 2 inch TFT LCD screen. Use its 3x optical zoom and 6x digital zoom to have a better view of objects at a distant.
A built-in flash is included so you could take pictures even in the dark. Save these pictures in its 56MB internal memory. Capture videos with sounds included to make it more enjoyable to watch. It has a TV out connectivity so you could connect it in a TV and play back video from it. But its better if it could be used as a webcam.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W70
One of the many stylish digital cameras by Sony is the Cyber-shot DSC-W70. This 7.2 megapixel digital camera has a bright 2.5 inch LCD screen for setting up and viewing images. The DSC-W70 camera has a High Sensitivity Mode (ISO 1000) allowing you to take pictures on low-light conditions but still maintain a great quality of image.
Other features include Carl Zeiss 3X Optical/2X Digital Zoom/6X Total Zoom that lets you take closer looks of distant images, and has a built-in slot for optional Memory Stick Duo or higher-capacity Memory Stick PRO Duo media for higher storage capacity.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-W55
Another cool model from Sony is the Cyber-shot DSC-W55 digital camera. According to their website:

Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50
Sony adds up to their collection of stylish digital cameras. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50 is a super-slim camera that comes in so handy, small enough to carry in your pocket.
Take pictures at 7.2 MP Super HAD (Hole Accumulated Diode) CCD design which gives you a clearer picture because of increased sensitivity and reduced noise. Enjoy looking at these pictures at its Huge 3.0”1 Clear Photo LCD Plus Screen that has a touch-screen technology making it more user-friendly.
It uses Super SteadyShot Optical Image Stabilization to give you a better picture even with a shaky hand and also uses Carl Zeiss 3X Optical/2X Precision Digital Zoom to give you better capability on taking even distant pictures.

Sony GPS-CS1
Want a better way to organize your pictures? Want to know where exactly where your photos were taken? Then get a hold of the GPS Device by Sony. Sony now allows you to know where you have taken your photos by keeping track of your photo locations and dates with satellite precision. The Sony GPS-CS1 calculates and records the position data.
This doesn’t need a complex setup as it is quite easy to use. It is said to be lightweight and can store up to one month of tracking records. It records location logs every 15 seconds. This makes it easier for us to manage and organize our pictures as it can be shown on an online map with the use of the software supplied with the camera.
Sony Cybershot DSC-H2 Review
PhotographyBlog recently reviewed the Sony Cybershot DSC-H2, a big zoom digital camera from Sony. With the size of the camera, I don’t think you’ll ever be able to lose it.
With a massive 12x optical zoom lens equivalent to 36-432mm on a 35mm camera, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-H2 is Sony’s current representative in the ultra-zoom class of compact digital cameras. The DSC-H2 has a 6 megapixel sensor and features Sony’s image stabilisation system, called Super Steady Shot, to ensure sharper results when hand-holding the camera at the longer focal lengths. Other highlights of the Sony DSC-H2 include a large 2 inch LCD screen for easier composition and playback, 7 different scene modes for the beginner, and creative shutter-priority, aperture-priority and manual exposure modes for the more experienced photographer.
In the end they give the Sony DSC-H2 a 4.5 out of 5, with some of the low points being its design, and image quality. Two places you don’t want as the low point, but considering they get a 4 out of 5, this camera is still very good.
Sony Cyber-shot DSC-T50
Sony’s Cyber-shot DSC-T50 has been announced, featuring a 7.2 megapixel sensor, three-inch touch-screen displays and built-in slide show capability.
“ With digital photography, the social interaction that happens when people share their pictures has become as important as making great photographs,” said Phil Lubell, director of marketing for digital still cameras and photo printers at Sony Electronics. “Large, durable, scratch-resistant touch screens with enhanced photo-viewing capabilities are a means to ensuring that photo buffs get the maximum enjoyment out of using their cameras.”
The T50 includes a 3x optical zoom and a 56 MB internal memory. It comes in red, black, or silver.
The Cyber-shot DSC-T50 camera ships in October for about $500. Optional accessories include the HVL-RLS ring light, used for close-up shots, for about $100, NP-FR1 InfoLithium battery, and LCJ-THA leather carrying case for about $40.
Sony Alpha 100 DSLR Review
Pocket-lint has a review up on the Sony Alpha 100 Digital SLR. A camera that has been receiving rave reviews from pretty much everyone that picks it up.
The Sony Alpha 100 is a compact and relatively lightweight 10-megapixel D-SLR that is based around the Konica Minolta core technologies of a CCD-shift Anti Shake system and the Dynax lens mount. They have been adopted by Sony with the former now called Super Steady Shot.
The Dynax mount (called Maxxum in the US) means the Alpha will benefit from over 16-million lenses already out there and in use, plus a host of new optics ready for launch and the promise of 21 new lenses by the end of this year. Add to that a large collection of other accessories that have been moved across from the KM brand and tweaked for use on the new Alpha 100 and the offering is certainly substantial.
It looks like Pocket-lint was no exception and pretty much loved the A-100 from Sony as they gave it a 9 out of 10, as well as a hot product badge. The two negatives they list for the camera are small things of note at best: noise reduction reduces fine detail, LCD screen lacks punch.
